JOHNSON & JOHNSON TO HOST EXHIBITION BY
NEW JERSEY ARTIST PETER S. JACOBS

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. December 16, 2002 – “Swing Lens/Large Canvas Prints/Curved Wood Panoramas,” an exhibition of art works by Peter Jacobs will be on display at Johnson & Johnson’s World Headquarters Gallery in New Brunswick from December 16 – January 13, 2002. The exhibition is part of the Company’s ongoing New Jersey Artists series.

The exhibition features a variety of photographic images including large scale gicleé prints and curved wood panoramas created from gicleé prints, paint and wax. All of the photographs were taken with a swing lens camera, which allows for panoramic views of a range equal to the human eye.

“Johnson & Johnson is pleased to provide a venue for this unique exhibition,” said Michael Bzdak, Director, Corporate Contributions, Johnson & Johnson. “We believe that the arts are vital to healthy communities.”

Jacobs is a graduate of SUNY College at Purchase. He has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including most recently the Montclair Art Museum’s Face to Face, an installation of 27 large scale mixed-media portraits, the feature exhibition of the Museum’s grand re-opening in the spring of 2002. His work is included in the collections of the Montclair Art Museum, The Bergen Museum and Towers Perrin.
The Johnson & Johnson World Headquarters Gallery is located at One Johnson & Johnson Plaza, New Brunswick, N.J. The gallery is open by appointment only. For more information about fine art exhibitions at the gallery, call 732-524-6957.
